Going from the film is described in this video it doesn’t seem likes it’s a batman film,. Seems like a mash up like those piss take films apart from this is DC, so dark and sinister and not comedy. Bruce Wayne with his goth look/attitude almost has Dolph Lundgren punisher vibe than a vigilante millionaire. Looks ok of a film and will give it a try, but the car is definitely the worse batmobile. It’s meant to be fairly unique and totally out the ordinary, not look likes it’s rolled out of Toretto’s workshop.

The collar was off-putting at first reveal, but over time I’ve grown to appreciate how it makes it harder to choke his neck and guards against knife & bullets.

I would love to see a Batman Beyond like movie with Pattinson playing Batman
It’s exactly what I expect. A movie adaptation of the most internationally known comic book character and arguably the most favorite super hero character. Who is also over-saturated in movies right now, especially reboots. With production values that make it the equivalent of a straight-to-video production. For all you whippersnapper youngins’, that means movies that skip theater runs.
Pattinson hasn’t even bothered to work out to look like Batman. My expectations aren’t even low, they’re kind of not there at all. And this is coming from a massive Batfan.
don’t much like what’s been done. reason is, there’s elements that you don’t change for personal ego-satisfaction, something that each successive producer puts into the character’s physical and theatrical appearance to make it his own. it’s not even interpretation. it’s as if you’ve been told, this is the color, this is the symbol, this is the equipment (all of the very best of Batman, is above you – if you can alter only slightly, and make things better. but to presume to change everything, for one’s own ego…that’s just failure. because, Batman isn’t about the self – it’s about everyone’s symbol of a ‘Batman’. not only that, but some stuff is so perfect, when you deviate from it…you get inferior outcomes.
nobody is told: try not to mess things up too much – and whomever comes into do the work, ignores it, anyway – sloppy thinking. Tim Burton’s Batman was the most authentic, visually. Christian Bale played the most believably robust Batman – the suit wasn’t as aesthetic as Michael Keaton’s – but functioned better. it’s still a prop. that’s all it is.

The dual meaning of the Bat signal is not new or unique. Watch The Dark Knight, Jim Gordon spells it out within the first 15 minutes of the movie.

The bat signal was used to scare criminals in the dark knight as well. So that’s not new.

Not a huge fan of the collar myself; the idea of it’s fine, I just don’t love the look of this particular one. Maybe one closer fitting on the neck that connects in the front or something.
Also. The tumbler’s not ugly. I will fight anyone who denies it’s the most bad-a wheeled sci-fi vehicle ever created. That said, I can’t call it the Batmobile. I love it dearly, but it’s not. Batman needs a sporty armored hot rod, something built for car chases, not an all-terrain… tank. It’s awesome, but not meant for Batman.
